Technology headcount is split between the London Canary Wharf cluster and growing hubs in Northampton and Glasgow designed to access engineering talent outside City salary bands. Total compensation for AI engineers runs £85K–£150K — below Goldman and JPMorgan, but structured with defined career bands and internal mobility pathways that give established engineers optionality without requiring lateral moves.
