The Brain Health Data (BHD) initiative unifies all clinical brain imaging — MRI, CT scans, and linked electronic health records — into a national cohort data set now underpinning stroke-triage AI models. For health data scientists and clinical informaticians, NHS Scotland offers access to whole-population longitudinal records that commercial AI labs would pay tens of millions to access.
